Description
As a board-certified nurse practitioner, Ericka Etherington is dedicated to supporting patients throughout their cancer journey with compassionate, personalized care. Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners since 2016, Ericka has served as a radiation oncology nurse practitioner at Community Hospital Anderson since 2017. Ericka's clinical focus includes the assessment and management of radiation treatment side effects, cancer survivorship care, and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) clinic services. By partnering closely with patients and their care teams, Ericka strives to help individuals navigate treatment, manage symptoms and achieve the best possible quality of life during and after cancer care. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Ericka gained extensive nursing experience caring for patients in a Level I trauma and surgery center and a cardiac progressive care unit. These experiences helped build a strong foundation in complex patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration. Outside of work, Ericka enjoys spending time with family, traveling, crocheting and reading.
